TRANSLATION
(Agnim) (we) In Yajyna fire being produced by Aranies (a kind of wood) (eede) welcome (Purohitam) the priest, (Yajyniasya Devam) Lord of the worship, Unformal Brahma of Divine qualities, (Ritwijam) to Yajamaana the introdueer of worship, (hotaaram) the Hotaa, the processor of worship, and (Ratna dhaatamam), Rana dhaataa, produeer of jewels! 1.1
SUBSTANCE
We welcom the Fire being produced by Aranies, the priest the Yajamaan, Introdueer of worship, (Dev) the U nformal Supreme Lord Brahma (and) Ratna dhaataa, the creator of jewels, the formal Lord Brahma. 1.1
NOTE :- In this couplet, two different words are used for the Supreme Lord, one Devam which means and is used for Unformal Brahma having Divine qualities, has been called Dev, the second Ratna dhaata, the maker or produeer of jewels, who is the Formal Lord Brahmaa who has created and made all the matters of nature. 1.1

TRANSLATION
(Agnim) this fire of worship (Poorvebhih) in former times also, (Rissibhih) (had been) by Sages worth welcoming - (ut) Besides you (Nootanaih) by ever new (Sa Dev) Divine Powers (eha) here in this, Yajyna, (Worship) (Vakshati) calls. 1.2
SUBSTANCE
This fire of Yajyna (worship), in former times also had been worth welcoming and this certainly calls you and other Divine Powers here. in this worship. 1.2

Agninaa Rayim ashnavat I Poshameva dive dive II
Yashasham veer vattamam III 1.3
TRANSLATION
(Agninaa) Through the fire of this Yajyna (Rayim) to properties (ashnavat) which are equal to stone (poshameva) are mantainid, (dive dive) day by day, (yashasam) which are giver of fame (veer vattamam) and are giver of bravery and the like. 1.3
SUBSTANCE
By this fire of Yajyna, the properties are mantanied as stones, that is, wealth or properties are acquired and mantained ordinarily and give fame and courage besides. 1.3

TRANSLATION
(Agne) In fire, (Yam) to whom (Adhwaram) pervador (Vishwatah) by all means (Paribhooh) (Asi) hold and attain (Sa) that offering to sacrificial fire (havya) (id) in this very way (Devessu) to Him (The use in plural is for respect meaning thereby singular) goes or is received by Him. 1.4
SUBSTANCE
Unformal Supreme Lord is pervading everywhere. Whatever we offer in the Sacrificial fire, is received by Him in minutest form after being burnt in the Yajna’s fire. 1.4

Agnihotaa Kavikratuh I Satyashchira Sravastamah II
Devo Devebhih aagamat III 1.5
TRANSLATION
(Agnih) Fire of Yajna (hotaa) to be offered to the fire (Kavikratuh) is regulator and doer, (Devo) Oh (Supreme) Lord you (Devebhih) in the form of Divine Powers (aagamat) come. 1.5
SUBSTANCE
The fire of Yajyna, being the burner of offerred matter (havya), is the regulator and doer of our Yajyna performance. In fact this is seen and heard in surprising way, in pretenee of which the Supreme Lord appears with Divine Power.. 1.5

Yadanga daashusse I Tamagne bhadram kariasyasi II
Tavet tat Satyamangirah. III 1.6
TRANSLATION
(Yad) Which Yajyna’s fire (anga daashusse) makes healthy the limbs and Sub-limbs (Twam) You! Supreme Lord !!! (agne) in the Yajyna’s fire (bhadram) welfare (karisyasi) do. (Tawet tat) that is the offect of Yours only (Satyam) in fact (angirah) which is pervading in the Yajyan’s fire. 1.6
SUBSTANCE
The fire which makes our limbs and sublenbs healthy, You! Supreme Lord Brahmaa !!! by that Yajyna’s fire do our welfare. Yours only this wonderful effect is in fact pervading in this Yajna’s fire. 1.6

(up) Besides it (tu) certainly (agne) in the yajyna’s fire (dive dive) day by day (daily) (doshaavastar) becoming beyond demerits (dhiyaa) by our intellect, (vayam) we (bharantu) enormously (again and again) (emaasi) remain doing (namo) bow before you. Supreme Lord ! Brahmaa !!! 1.7

Raajanta madhwaraanaam I Gopaamritasya Deedivam II

(Raajantam) Disbursing glory (adhwaraanaam) to your devotees (Gopaam) the Gopaas cowstamers (amritasya) of unimortal substance (vardhamanam) developper (twe) withourt any demand or request for, (dame) give. You Supreme Lord ! Brahmaa !!! 1.8
SUBSTANCE
Oh! Supreme Lord ! Brahmaa !!! You give to Gopals, (cows Tamers) Your devotees, the mortalising, and diveloping substanees Yourself without any demand or request from them (Through this Yajyna’s fire). 1.8

TRANSLATION
(Sa) He you Supreme Lord ! Brahmaa !!! (nah) to us (piteva) like Father (soonave) to son may act (agne) through this Yajyna’s fire (bhawa) may become (soopaayano) of good ways (sa) He, You Supreme Lord ! Brahmaa!!! (cha) certainly (swaa) Your self (Nah) to us (swastaye) be welfaring. 1.9
SUBSTANCE
He, You Supreme Lord ! Brahmaa !!!, as Father mamtains son by good ways and manners, in the same way, thorugh the offerings given to this Yajyna’s fire, being pleased, may certainly become welfaring to us through good means. 1.9

TRANSLATION
(Vaayava) In the form of air (Yaahi) which certainly (darshate) is seen (me) in me (to me) (somaa) duly (akritaa) is collected (is inserted) (Tessaam) of those inserted or collected particles air in my body (paahi) protect (sudhee) pay attention (vayam) on our assertion. 2.1
SUBSTANCE
Whatever merit is seen in required quantity, that is existing in my body duly, that air gall and cought in equal quantities, protect those merits. Pay attantion to our assertion, Oh. Lord Brahmaa. 2.1

TRANSLATION
(Vaaya) About air (ukthebhih) whatever is said (jarante) they appreciate merits (Twaam) of yours (of Lord Brahmaa) (achchha) well (in good manner) appreciators of these merits (sutasomaa) like son to me (ahamvidah) who (The Lord) knows me. 2.2
SUBSTANCE
It has been said about air that all those airs (forty nine in number) are the appreciators of Your’s and Yours merits the knower of me, who appreciates your merits, is only you, Oh! Lord Brahmaa. 2.2

Vaayo tav prapoonvatee I Dhena jigaati daashusse II
uroochee soma peetaye III 2.3
TRANSLATION
(Vaayo) Oh! Air! (tava) yours (prapoonvatee) heart-touching tongue (dhenaa) by desire (jigaati) inspires (dashusse) to give in charity, (some peetaye) to obtain pleasure. 2.3
SUBSTANCE
Your, (of Lord Brahmaa) heart touching tongue in the form of air inspires us to give something in charity for obtaining pleasure. It is our moral duty to give some part of our income in charity for obtaining pleasure. 2.3

Indravaayu ime sutaa I up prachobhiraa gatam II
indavo vaamushanti hi III 2.4
TRANSLATION
(Indravaayu) Oh! Lord Ruler of the world, pervading the air, (ime) this (sutaa) daughter of Yours (up) as in alternative (prachobhiraa) in suffecient quantity (gatam) is available (indavo) as a cousequence (vaamushanti) is obtanied (hi) certainly. 2.4
SUBSTANCE
Oh! Brahmaa!! Ruler of the world, this air as your daughter, in your alternative is, available in sufficient quantity. We get it certainly as your kind gift. 2.4

(Vaayavindrashcha) In Air and Clourds your pervading (chetayah) warnings. (Sutaanaam) to your sons (vaajineevasoo) becoming fast reaching (Taavaam) in your contact (yaatam) carry (up) in aternative (dravat) doing mercy (to us). 2.5

Your, Oh! Lord Brahmaa! warnings pervading the air and clouds to us your sons, becoming fast reaching carrey your merey to us in the alternative. 2.5

Vaayavindrashcha sunvat I Aaayaatamup Nisskritam II

TRANSLATION
(VAayavindrashcha) Pervading air and elouds, You Lord Brahmaa! (sunvateh) obtanid by concentretion (Twaa) in Full Form (to the best of our satisfaction) (aayaatam) are realised (are availed) (up) in the alternative (Nisskritam) extracted like butter (makshwi) are obtained (Twaa) You, Lord Brahmaa in this way (dhiyaa) by intellect (naraah) men. 2.6
SUBSTANCE
You Lord Brahmaa! pervading air and clouds are available (obtaniable) in full form, Whom (You) the men avail by concentration as butter is extracted from milk. They realise or see your existence in Air and Clouds by concentretion. 2.6

Mitram huve pootadaksham I Varunancha dishaadasam II
Dhiya dhritaacheem Saadhantaa III 2.7
TRANSLATION
(Mitram) You Lord Brahmaa! Frieud of all! (huve) I call You (pootadaksham) who is most pious (varunancha) who you also pervading the sea. (dishaadasam) and all the Ten sides (dhiyam) the intellact which develops alround by truth (dhritaacheem) being inspired (saadhantaa) by performing penance, (saadhanaa). 2.7

Oh! Lord Brahmaa!! I call You as Friend. You, most pious are pervadng the sea and all the Ten Directions of the universe, inspiring my intellect apt to develop by truth, I perform penance to obtain You. 2.7

Riten Mitraa Varunaa I Dhritaavridha vritasprishaa II
Kratum Brihantanaashaathe III 2.8
TRANSLATION
(Riten) Certainly (Mitraa) by friendly (Varunaa) Sees, You Lord Brahmaa have been accepted as base thereof, that is, in them there is the base only of yours. (vridhaa) then in vaim performing (fast etc.) (Kratum) Oh. Creator of the Universe (Brahama) (aashaathe) I expect largly from you. 2.8
SUBSTANCE
Oh! Lord Brahmaa!! You have certanily been the friendly base of (Varuna) Seas. You are the base of these Seas. You do welfare of all. Then it is hypocricy for me to do any vrit (fast etc) instead of which I must concentrate upon You and You only. 2.8

Kavem no mitraavarunaa I Suvyaataa uroo kshamaa II
Daksham dadhaate apasam III 2.9
TRANSLATION
(Kavaem) In function (no) us (Mitraa varunaa) through friendly (Varuna) Sees (suvijaataa) knowing well (uroo kshamaa) in the form of excuse (daksham) (dadhaate) show expressly (apusam) our freedom. 2.9
SUBSTANCE
You Oh! Lord Brahmaa!! are well known as functioning friendly through Varuna (Seas). You grant us the same freedom as excuse as (Varuna) Seas have got to do their functions as with freedom. 2.9

TRANSLATION
(Ashwinaa) Not doing stone-worship, that is, not of idol (vareerisso) the best way is (dravatpaanee) for the walkers on which way Your (of Lord Brahmaa) hands also are allured to give (shubhapatee) You[ Lord Brahamaa! are Good Master (puroobhujaa) Your arms are long (dhanasyataam) which are giver of more and more wealth etc. 3.1
SUBSTANCE
The way of worship, not of stone, that is, not of idol which is the way of learned persons and not of ignorants, is giver of desired wealths etc. by the Supreme Lord Brahmaa. His hands are long, which are allured to give enormous wealth etc. to such learned persons. 3.1

Ashvinaa puroo dansasaa I Nara shaveerayaa dhiya II
Dhissnyaa vantangirah III 3.2
TRANSLATION
(Ashvinaa) Without stone worship, that is, not of idols (purudansasaa) (Nara) persons doers of difficult deeds (shaveerayaa) by stability (dhiyaa) by use of intellect (dhissnyaa) with attention (vanatan) act according to practicable (girah) speech of Vad. 3.2

We the human beings must act according to the Ved Vaanee, the speech of Ved with stable intellect and attention. 3.2

Dasraa Yuvakavah Sutaa I Naasatyaa vriktabarhissah II

TRANSLATION
(Dasraa) Enemy destroyer (Yuvakavah) Youth (Sutaa) young ladies (naasatyaa) which is untrue, that is, not true, must go on the way beyond that, that is, must follow the true way (aa) completely attogether (yaatam) walking or following (Rudravartanee) must be strictly anti to untrue conduct. 3.3

Our youth and young ladies must not follow the untrue conduct and completely altogether following true conduct, become strictly anti to untrue conduct. 3.3

TRANSLATION
(Indraa) Oh Lord Brahamm! Your universe ruling power (yaahi) which certainly is (chitrabhaanoh) (sutaa) daughter of Chitrabhaano, the sun, (ime) the same (twayavah) is your Nature which (Anveebhih) by attonic rays (tavaa) extending (Pootaassah) may purify us. 3.4

Oh! Lord Brahmaa!! Your Universe Ruling Power which is certanily containied in the sun. It is verily Your nature which is extending its atornic rays, through Sun, may purify us. 3.4

(Indraa) Your, Lord ! Brahmaa’s power of ruling over this universe, (yaahi) which certanily (dhiyessito) prayed by intellects (Vipajootah) worshipped by learned persons (sutaavatah) like the daughter of Yours, (Brahmaani) in You, Brahmaa only, (baadhatah) is pervading, (is available). 3.5

Oh! Lord Brahmaa!! Your power of ruling over this universe, which we certainly pray to that power like your daughter, must in fact be available to us. 3.5

(Indraa) Your, Oh! Lord Brahmaa!! Your ruling power over this universe (yaahi) which certanily (Tootujaana) is known to all (up) alternatively (Brahmaani) In Lord Brahma You, (harivah) Your merits (sute) well them (dadhishcha) we may abopt or hold (nashchanah) without any obstacle. 3.6
SUBSTANCE
Oh! Lord Brahmaa!! Your ruling power over this universe, with all Your merits in You, is known to all. We may adopt that power without any obstacle. 3.6

Omaashchaneedhrito I Vishwe devaasa aagataa II
Dashchaanso daashussah sutam III 3.7
TRANSLATION
(Om) You undestroyable letter (unchinging letter in cases of grammar) (aa) complitely (altogether) (upa) that You, Oh! Lord Brahmaa!! (cha) certanily (rissaneedhrito) are hold (concentrated upon) by sages (vishwe) in this universe (Devaasa) that Lord You Brahmaa!! (aagata) to him who comes to You, who prays you or who conentrates upon You, (daashcha) certanily give (anso) as Your particle (dashussah) as the Father always having tendency to give (sutam) to his son. 3.7

Om is one lettersd name of the Supreme Lord. This letter does not change in any case of Grammer use. You have been held in Concentration by the sages You are the only Supreme Lord the Parmeshwar You are tending to give devotees as a Father has to his son. 3.7

Vishwe Devaaso apturah I Sutamaaganta Toornayah II
Usraa iva swasaraani III 3.8
TRANSLATION
(Vishwe) In the world (Devaaso) that Lord, Supreme Lord, Brahmaa, (apturah) You are inspired (sutamaa) very soon (instantly) (gant) may go (toornayah) the rays of Yours (usraa iva) like those of the Sun (swasaraani) in his way. 3.8
SUBSTANCE
In the world that Lord, You are Brahmaa only who are kindled on helpless persons. Your enlightened rays like those of Sun may be issued in the way of the Lord. for all persons and creatures. 3.8

Vishwe Devaaso asrighah I Ehiyaamaaso adruhah II
Megham jussanta Banhayah III 3.9
TRANSLATION
(Veshwe) That Lord of the Universe You Brahmaa (asrighah) cannot be killed by any body (ahim) skilful (aayaaso) giver fo pleasure (adruhah) donot envy to anybody (Megham) to clouds (jussant) let pour water (vanhayah) over fires, that is all tragedios of the world may be quietened by pouring of Your kindness. 3.9

Paavakaa Nah sarasvatee I vaajebhirvaajimeevatee II
Yajynam yasstu dhiyaavasu III 3.10
TRANSLATION
(Paavakaa) Pious maker (Nah) to us (saraswatee) Your pious tongue Ved Vaanee, the text of Ved, (vaajebhih) by foregoing intellect (vaajimeevatee) may plunge us in concentration (yajynam yasstu) by getting yajyana performed (dhiyaavasu) may fulfil our desire or requirements. 3.10

Oh! Lord Brahmaa!! Your this Ved Vaanee the speech of Ved by its foregoing intillect may plungs us in concentration and by geting the yajyna performed may fulfil our desire or requieements. 3.10

TRANSLATION
(Vedayitree) Inspiring (soonritaanam) to do good works (chetantee) warning (sumeteenaam) the persons having good sense (saraswatee) this Ved Vaanee, the speech of Ved, (yajynam) (dadhe) may lead to sucess this worship. 3.11

Oh! Lord Brahmaa!! Your this inspering speech of Ved, Ved Vaanee, which is giving warning to the persons having good sence, may lead this yajyna (worship) to success. 3.11

Maho Arnah sarswatee I Prachetayati ketunaa II
Dhiyo Vishwaa viraajati III 3.12
TRANSLATION
(Maho) Great (arnah) sea of knowledge (saraswatee) the Ved Vaanee speech of Ved (prachetayati) warms by all means (dhiyo) to our intellects and (vishwaa) with all sources of the world (viraajati) adores. 3.12
SUBSTANCE
Your, Oh! Lord Brahmaa!! this Ved Vaanee (Speech of Ved warms our intellects by all means and adores it with all knowledge of the universe. 3.12
